South Africa is rich in natural resources with a long-established trading history. Yet, as the country continues to modernise and its technology sector increases its’ contribution to GDP, it also needs to be more aware of cyber crime. According to global cyber security company Kaspersky Lab, malware attacks in South Africa increased by 22% in the first quarter of 2019 compared to the first quarter of 2018. This translates into about 13,842 attempted cyber attacks per day.
Given the growing threat to South African business, its economy and people, 27k1 Ltd is delighted to announce that it has introduced the 27k1 ISMS (Information Security Management System) software to the SA market, appointing Ntrust Advisory as its’ first system reseller.
